The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and is a crucial year for realizing the goals and tasks set out in the 14th Five-Year Plan. The "National Action to Revitalize Rural Culture" focuses on building an "effective platform with influence and communication power" and insists on giving full play to the main role of farmers. Twelve key activities have been deployed, including thematic presentation, farmers' public welfare training, Chinese farmer poetry association, farmers’ art exhibition, excellent rural culture and art exhibition, rural memory project, rural cultural map, village lecture hall, cultural and sports activities, creative competition of rural cultural industry, and the national rural culture and art exhibition season. Through the Action, the innovative theory of the CPC will be widely publicized, the protection and inheritance of rural culture will be comprehensively strengthened, the excellent heritage of agricultural civilization will be organically combined with elements of modern civilization, the creative transformation of rural cultural resources will be promoted, and the rural cultural industry will be developed innovatively.
